Netscape Mail Setup
This is mail setup for Netscape 3.x. If you are using version 4.x (Netscape Communcator), go to the setup for Netscape Communicator E-Mail.
1. With Netscape open, Click on Options and go down to Mail and News Preferences.
2. When the Preferences window opens, click on the tab labled Servers Make sure your settings match those shown below. Next to POP3 User Name put your own username. For example tpistachio as shown.
3. Next, click on the tab labled Identity. Put your name as you want it to appear on your e-mail next to Your Name. If you do not wish people to know your last name, do not put it in there.
Your e-mail address goes next to Your Email Your e-mail address is simply your username followed by: @surfersnet.com. If you want your return mail to go to a different address, type it in under Reply-to Address. Click OK down at the bottom and you are ready to get your e-mail through Netscape.
